"Unwritten"

"Unwritten"
Written by Scott Voelkerding

Another sleepless night
Your memory fills my head
I wonder how and when it might be gone
I can't stop thinkin' about all the words you said
that keep me hanging on for one more night

The things I should have done
The words I should have said
Or does it really matter anymore?
I can't undo what's done
I can't unwrite what's read
So tomorrow, I'm moving on instead
Tomorrow, I'm gonna clear my head

Unwritten, no writing on the wall
Unwritten, one more chance to change it all
I can't unwrite the past; the past is gone
But tomorrow is unwritten

Another endless day
Another sleepless night
Another shot of whiskey to kill the pain
I have to figure out how to stare this barrel down
Oh your memory is driving me insane
I hope tomorrow doesn't have to be the same

Unwritten, no writing on the wall
Unwritten, one more chance at movin' on
You can haunt my past; the past is gone
But tomorrow is unwritten

I've been down this road before
I've been lifeless on the floor
I've been clinging on to one last breath of life
And as the whisky filled my veins
I knew it was time to change
So tomorrow, I'm going to change my life
Knowing change is all I need to survive

Unwritten, no writing on the wall
Unwritten, one more chance to change it all
I can't unwrite the past; the past is gone
but tomorrow is unwritten

...Unwritten
...Unwritten

Tomorrow's another day
...when life is Unwritten
